Dungeons are the most engaging content in Final Fantasy XIV for many players. Players can test their skills by battling powerful monsters and solving puzzles, all while earning heaps of rewards. And currently, there are over 80 dungeons in the game, and Square Enix only plans on expanding this number. So, with this many dungeons available, it can be hard to know which ones are worth your time. Here are some of the best FFXIV dungeons you should try in 2023.

5. Lapis Manalis
Lapis Manalis is one of the more recent dungeons added to the game. It is introduced in patch 6.3, a level 90 dungeon featuring three boss fights and a ton of loot. This dungeon is relatively easy and quick and also a fun one. The snowy and icy theme this dungeon has going on really brings out a unique vibe and lands 5th on our list.
4. The Fell Court of Troia
The Fell Court of Troia is a dungeon added to the game in patch 6.2. This level 90 normal difficulty dungeon has three bosses and a dark gothic environment. Its uniquely styled castle and haunting background music make up a great ambiance for a fun game night with your friends.
3. Smileton
Smileton has a different vibe than the other dungeons mentioned on this list and was introduced in patch 6.0. it is also another Endwalker dungeon with three unique boss fights. Its setting is unique, with a lot of verticality and color. It also has Jazz music playing in the background and Loporrits running around. It is one of the most entertaining dungeons to play right now.
2. Ktisis Hyperboreia
Ktisis Hyperboreia is another dungeon that came in patch 6.0 and featured a surreal setting. Ktisis takes place in a past setting and features some technology that is uniquely fascinating. However, what makes this level 87 dungeon take the 2nd spot on our list is its immaculate background music, matched with the buildings and enemies that fit the whole atmosphere it has going on.
1. The Dead Ends
The number 01 dungeon on our list is The Dead Ends. This level 90 dungeon was also introduced in patch 6.0, and it is the final dungeon of the main scenario of Endwalker. Due to its red accents, it features a post-apocalyptic environment that almost makes you feel like you are fighting on Mars. It is an incredible start for Endwalker's finale.
