The next long-awaited expansion for World of Warcraft - Dragonflight, is set to be released on November 28, 2022, according to Blizzard’s announcement on their official site. As the ninth expansion pack of WoW, Dragonflight will introduce various features and thus bring many new challenges to its adventurers.

Gather your friends and allies, and get ready to soar into the new journey in November! But before that, let’s see what we can expect in the new expansion.

New Zone: Dragon Isles

The Dragon Isles are a primal place bursting with elemental magic and the life energies of Azeroth, and they served as the Dragonflights’ broodlands and the center of their Kingdom when Azeroth was young. There are four zones here for players to level up - the Waking Shores, Ohn’ahran Plains, the Azure Span, and Thaldraszus. And the fifth one, the Forbidden Reach, is the starting zone. Players have to do this in sequence, starting in the Forbidden Reach and ending in Thaldraszus.

New Playable Race-Class Combo Dracthyr Evoker

A new playable dragon race, the Dracthyr, is revealed, and it is only able to be the new Evoker class, which can be played either as a caster DPS or a healer. The Evoker is the first race and class combination coming to World of Warcraft, allowing players to switch between draconic and humanoid forms.

Dragonriding

One of the more exciting features in Dragonflight expansion is the dragonriding, through which players can ride on the back of their unique customized Drake. Four base types of dragon are available for players to choose from, and each of them has over 50 customizations available. Players can improve their flying skills; for example, speed can be one of the aspects.

Talent System Revamp

The talent trees in 10.0 are different from the previous talent trees in other expansions of WoW. First, you have two trees, not only one, and the class tree contains a set of abilities available to all specs in a class and has a higher proportion of utility choices. Another change is that more of your class is represented in the tree rather than being awarded automatically while leveling up, which means more options and challenges.

New Level Cap

Unlike the maximum level of 60 in Shadowlands, the new level cap in Dragonflight will be raised to 70.

DID YOU KNOW?
New content means more challenge, more fun, but also means more needs for in-game gold. Instead of farming, MmoGah is a trustworthy place where players can get gold to prepare for their WoW Dragonflight journey. Here you will enjoy reasonable prices and professional services. We are your forever game companion.

Updated UI

The nearly two-decade-old UI is finally getting an update. The dev team modernizes the appearance of the player’s layout and view while maintaining the original design’s charm and personality. For example, the minimap and health bar are more prominent, and they also removed some clutter to provide greater viewable space.

New Dungeons

Eight new dungeons will come with the Dragonflight update on November 28, with four being the level-up dungeons and four being the maximum-level dungeons.

Season 1 and New Raid

Dragonflight Season 1 will begin on December 12, bringing a new raid - Vault of the Incarnates, an updated rotation of challenging Mythic+ dungeons, and a new PvP Season. The new raid is located in Thaldraszus, featuring eight bosses, with Raszageth the Storm-Eater as the final boss.

That is it for the new content coming to the 10.0 expansion. The journey is about to begin. Get prepared, and see you in Azeroth!
