Whirling Runekey

There are five specific Runekeys you need to collect in order to unlock the mount. Each runekey requires fragments that can be farmed from different locations and enemies in the game. The first is the Whirling Runekey, which is the easiest one to get because it is a guaranteed drop. All you have to do is look for a rare.

1. Location: Head to the Southern room of the Forgotten Vault on the Siren Isles.

2. Storm Phase: Ensure that a storm is active when you enter the room.

3. Rare Spawn: Look for the rare mob, Ksvir the Forgotten (/way #2375 38.0 76.2 Ksvir the Forgotten). He spawns in this area.

4. Defeat Ksvir: Engage and defeat Ksvir the Forgotten. He has a spawn time of approximately 5-15 minutes.

5. Loot: Upon defeating him, he will drop the Whirling Runekey with a 100% chance along with other items.

Cyclonic Runekey

The next Runekey is the Cyclonic Runekey by Zek'ul the Shipbreaker.

1. Location: Head to the Deadfin Mire on the western side of the Siren Isles map.

2. Storm Phase: Ensure that a storm is active when you enter the area.

3. Rare Spawn: Look for the rare mob, Zek'ul the Shipbreaker (/way #2369 33.1 73.3 Zek'ul the Shipbreaker). He spawns in this area.

4. Defeat Zek'ul: Engage and defeat Zek'ul the Shipbreaker. You can do this by looking for a group. Note that this is not a guaranteed drop, so you may need to defeat him multiple times. Fortunately, during the process, you can obtain some of the other fragments that are needed for the Torrential Runekey. But it is worth noting that there is a much quicker way - you can just fish next to Zek'ul the Shipbreaker, near the fish skeleton by the water, to get the Runekey.

Torrential Runekey

The Torrential Runekey is assembled by collecting 7 Torrential fragments, which are dropped from mobs in the Storm phase of Siren Isle with a low chance drop. Like what is mentioned above, defeating Zek'ul the Shipbreaker can let you get the Torrential Runekey fragments. In Redloud's case, he managed to get six out of seven from the two hours of grinding Zek'ul. You can also look for a Torrential farming group to farm rares.

Turbulent Runekey

The next one is the Turbulent Runekey.

1. Location: Head to the Siren Isles and look for a spot. The little dirt pile in here has the Turbulent Fragments, and there are three fragments in total to collect.

2. Fragment Locations:

3. Storm Phase: Ensure that a storm is active when you are searching for these fragments, as they can only be found during the storm phase.

4. Combine Fragments: Once you have all three fragments, right-click to combine them into the Turbulent Runekey.

Thunderous Runekey

1. Collect Thunderous Fragments:
You need to gather five Thunderous Fragments. These fragments can be found in treasure chests scattered around the Siren Isles.

2. Treasure Chests: The chests can appear in both the storm phase and the normal phase. They spawn randomly and may not always be in the same location.

3. Locations: Some common locations where chests can be found include:

4. Open Chests: Open as many chests as you can find. The fragments have a low drop rate, so it may take some time to collect all five.

5. Combine Fragments: Once you have all five Thunderous Fragments, right-click to combine them into the Thunderous Runekey.

Unlock the Mount

Once you've obtained all five of the Runekeys, return to Thrayir's ritual in the Forgotten Vault, input all Runekeys, and Thrayir will come back to life, giving you the quest Thrayir, Eyes of the Siren and the mount.
