D2R Patch 2.4 - Level Area Changes & Mercenaries & Set Item Bonus
The D2R Patch 2.4 PTR has just ended. It improved on many aspects of Diablo 2 Resurrected. MmoGah will introduce three of the improvements - Level Area Changes, Mercenaries, and Set Item Bonus. We can see that the whole game will change a lot just from these minor aspects.
Level Area Changes
Developers found players often skipped required content because of the logic glitch. Some optional areas were also ignored on hell difficulty. In order to attract more players to play the game fully, two changes were implemented.
1. The "Khalim's Will" quest needed to be completed.
2. Monster levels were increased for hell difficulty in the areas below. (As the monster level increases, big booty would come along.)

Mercenaries
In patch 2.4 updates, players will not hire random-level mercenaries. Instead, they can hire mercenaries that match their characters' level. The unequal duel of a Hell difficulty mercenary versus a normal difficulty mercenary can not be seen again.
Set Item Bonus Changes
Many improvements were added to some D2R set items that were generally underused, such as Cow King's Leathers and Naj's Ancient Vestige.
Cow King's Leathers
Added 5-495 Defense (+5 Per Character Level) (2 Items)
Added +100 to Life (Full Set)
Added +1 To All Skills (Full Set)
Naj's Ancient Vestige
Added 1-148% Better Chance of Getting Magic Items (+1.5 Per Character Level) (2 Items)
Increased Replenish Life +10 to Replenish Life +20 (Full Set)
Added +2 To Fire Skills (Full Set)
Added Increased Maximum Life 12% (Full Set)
Patch 2.4 is a significant improvement compared to the original updates, and it is a good opportunity for players to experience and enjoy new and different content in D2R.
