The Best Healer Build for ESO – Necrom

In The Elder Scrolls Online, healers are responsible for keeping their group members alive and healthy during battles, and they are essential for success in group content such as dungeons and Trials. Note that this build requires the Oakensoul Ring, which means you will need the Greymoor, High Isle, and Murkmire DLCs to get the leads for the ring. If you don't have those DLCs and don't want to spend money on them, it is recommended to buy one month of an ESO Plus subscription so you can get the ring.

 

Race: Breton

Class: Warden

Food: Orzorga's Red Frothgar 

Potion: Essence of Immovability or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion 

Mundus: The Atronach

 

This build uses the Breton race for the passive skills of Magicka Mastery, Spell Attunement passive, and Gift of Magnus. Magicka Mastery reduces the Magicka cost of your abilities by 7%, which will be extremely useful for continuous healing. Spell Attunement provides Spell Resistance and extra Magicka Recovery, which is also useful for continuous healing. Gift of Magnus increases your Max Magicka by 2000.

 

Using the food of Orzorga's Red Frothgar, you will get a massive chunk of extra Health and more Magicka Recovery to keep the heals going out. 

 

In order to prevent the healer from healing, it is common for players to stun the healer during combat. To counter this, you will need the Essence of Immovability. This potion grants you immunity to knowbacks and disabling effects for a short duration, which can help you survive and escape from enemy attacks. If you don't want to use the Essence of Immovability, you can use the Crown Tri-Restoration potion to keep your resources up. 

 

The Atronach Mundus provides you with even more Magicka Recovery.

The Sturdy Trait allows you to have a little extra Stamina in reserve.

 

Redistributor is a craftable set in ESO. To get this set, you will need to find yourself a good crafter, or you can buy it in a Guild Store. Both Chokethorn and Redistributor provide additional healing to your teammates. Meanwhile, as heavy armor, they can protect you very well.

 

The Endurance set gives you additional 1.8K Health.

 

The Emperor's Blessing staff is a part of the Oblivion's Foe set. The staff grants you extra damage. The best weapon option for this healer build is the Healing staff of the Perfected Precise Regeneration set. But if you don't have it, you can grab any staff that increases your damage, Magicka, or Health until you get the Perfected Precise Regeneration Healing staff.

Skill Setup

Radiating Regeneration will apply a heal over time (HoT) effect at three of your allies. Since the Perfected Precise Regeneration staff will give you 500 Magicka back every time one of those heals crits, you will never run out of Magicka if you use this ability on a large group in Cyrodiil.

 

Energy Orb is a solid HoT that can heal everyone in the area and also allow them to activate the Combustion synergy, causing the orb to explode and heal nearby allies and restoring Magicka or Stamina to the activator, whichever maximum is higher.

 

Polar Wind will instantly heal for a large chunk of Health and additional HoT. This skill can be used to rapidly save your allies from the brink of death. When combined with the Focused Mending Champion skill and the Swift Renewal Champion skill, Polar Wind can become the most powerful single-target healing spell in the game.

 

Budding Seeds is an AoE HoT that has a burst heal at the end of the duration or upon reactivating the ability. So if you see a teammate low on Health standing in this AoE, cast the skill again, and it'll give him a huge boost in HP.

 

Blue Betty will give you Magicka regeneration, Major Brutality, and Major Sorcery. It also removes one negative effect from you every 5 seconds.

 

Enchanted Forest (Ultimate) gives you the best AoE healing ability. Plus, if the initial heal is used on a friendly target under 50% Health, you generate 20 Ultimate, which can be a good method you can use to keep this ability up quite rapidly. 

 

The skill setup is what you need when playing PvP and veteran PvE content. However, if you're running normal dungeons, switching the Energy Orb to Gripping Shards and Enchanted Forest to Northern Storm is recommended. With the Gripping Shards and Northern Storm, you can clear the dungeons faster while also being able to heal your teammates.
