There are different ways to level up fast in Diablo 2 Resurrected, depending on whether you play solo or multiplayer and what class and build you choose. However, some general methods can help you level up fast.
Complete the Den of Evil Quest in Act 1 for a Quick Boost of Experience.
Enter the Den of Evil and kill all the enemies inside. You will encounter various types of undead and corrupted rogues, such as zombies, skeletons, fallen, and carvers. You will also face a super unique enemy named Corpsefire, who is a large and fiery zombie that can deal a lot of damage and spawn more zombies. You can use the map overlay to see how many enemies are left in the Den of Evil. When five or fewer enemies are left, the game will start tracking your progress and show you the remaining enemies on the map.
Do Tomb Runs in Act 2 until Level 20, killing as Many Elite Groups as Possible.
Enter any of the seven tombs and kill as many elite groups as possible. Yellow or gold names mark elite groups and have special abilities and modifiers. They also drop more experience and loot than regular enemies. You can use the map overlay to see how many elite groups are in each Tomb. Each Tomb usually has 2 to 4 elite groups, depending on the size and layout of the Tomb.
Complete the Rite of Passage Quest in Act 5 at Level 24, which requires a huge amount of experience.
To complete the quest, you need to kill all three Ancients without leaving the Arreat Summit, dying, or using any town portals. If you do any of these things, the quest will reset, and you will have to start over. You also need to be at least level 20 to start the quest, and you will get more experience if you are level 24 or higher.
Do Baal Runs in Act 5 until Level 40, Joining a Full Party for More Experience and Loot.
Join or create a multiplayer game with other players doing the same runs, as this will increase the D2R experience and loot you get and make the runs faster and easier. You can use the lobby system to find or host a game or the chat system to communicate with other players.
Repeat the process until you reach level 40 or until you feel ready to move on to the next act or difficulty. You can also follow Baal to the Worldstone Chamber and kill him for more experience and loot, but this will end the game, and you will have to start a new one.
Complete the Rite of Passage Quest in Nightmare Mode at Level 40-45 for Another Huge Amount of Experience.
Go to Harrogath and speak to Qual-Kehk, the Mercenary captain, or head to The Ancient's Way to start the quest automatically.
Travel through The Ancient's Way until you reach the Arreat Summit, where you will find the Altar of the Heavens.
Open a portal back to town and stock up on health and mana potions. Drop some of them on the ground near the altar for later use.
Activate the altar to summon the three Ancients, who are powerful Barbarian warriors. You must defeat them without dying, using any town portals, or leaving the area.
Do Chaos Sanctuary Runs or Baal Runs in Nightmare Mode until Level 60-65, Depending on Your Class and Build.
The choice between Chaos Sanctuary and Baal runs depends on your class, build, and personal preference. Some classes and builds may find one run easier or more efficient than the other, depending on their skills, owned Diablo 2 items, and playstyle. For example, a Sorceress with high fire damage may prefer Baal runs over Chaos Sanctuary runs since Baal is not immune to fire, while Diablo and some of the seal bosses are. On the other hand, a Paladin with great physical damage may prefer Chaos Sanctuary runs over Baal runs since Diablo and the seal bosses are not immune to physical damage, while Baal and some of his minions are.
Complete the Rite of Passage Quest in Hell Mode at Levels 60-65 for the Final Huge Amount of Experience.
Prepare Your Character: Ensure your character is well-equipped with good resistance, life, and damage output gear. Skills that can slow down or immobilize enemies can be particularly useful.
Reach the Arreat Summit: You can unlock the Rite of Passage quest by reaching the Ancients' Way and then proceeding to the Arreat Summit.
Do Chaos Sanctuary Runs or Baal Runs in Hell Mode until Level 99, Using the Best Items and Runes for Your Class and Build.
Preparation: Ensure your character has maximum resistance, especially fire, as the Chaos Sanctuary is filled with fire-damage-dealing enemies.
Items: For caster builds, items like Arachnid Mesh, Harlequin Crest, and Death's Fathom enhance your abilities. Consider Highlord's Wrath, Andariel's Visage and Dracul's Grasp for attack builds.
Strategy: Focus on Magic Find and Mobility. Prioritize killing the main boss of Elite packs on Players 1 to guarantee drops and quickly move to the next pack. For runes and bases, use a well-rounded build, ideally farming on Players 7.
