Here are some key strategies to power up quickly in Diablo 4 Season 6.
1. The first goal is to clear Pit 20 to unlock TORMENT 1 because this can drop any item in the game.
This is not difficult with basic 750 legendaries, low-level gems, and tempers.
Hints:
a. Make sure you always have an elixir, incense, and an opal active. These increase your XP substantially for more Paragon points.
b. We need our glyphs, which drop mostly in Helltide, Nightmare Dungeons & The Pit.
c. When starting out, the volume of legendaries matters because we're in dire need of upgrades. Helltide seems to be the best option by far here & they also give you whispers.
d. Seething Opals of Equipment are very strong early on to gear up.
Strategy:
a. Do Realmwalkers for Opals (Equipment).
b. Craft Incenses & Elixirs and wear them at all times with your Opals.
c. Do Whispers in Helltide for Gear, Glyphs, Gold, and Valuable Materials.
d. Reroll & Temper your gear, craft new gems, go clear Pit 20, then swap your difficulty to Torment 1.
e. You should NEVER play on a difficulty lower than Torment 1 again.
2. The next step is acquiring the Uniques for your build.
Gambling is by far the best option here, so maximizing our Obols is critical.
Hints:
a. The Pit drops Obols at the end of every run.
b. Events in Helltide & Nightmare Dungeons also regularly drop a lot of Obols.
c. Some Uniques can be target farmed by doing Infernal Hordes.
d. All Uniques can be target formed by killing Tormented Bosses, but this is not recommended early on because they're more valuable to kill in higher Torments.

Strategy:
a. Do the highest level of The Pit you can crush to gain Obols & Glyph XP.
b. Spend Obols at the Purveyor of Curiosities on the Uniques you need.
3. Getting your glyphs to Level 46.
This is straightforward- do the Pit to level your glyphs.
4. Pushing Paragon levels is a massive power boost.
The first 200 are easy to get with the right strategy.
Hints:
a. Again, Elixir+ Incense + Opals should be on at all times.
b. Nightmare Dungeons have a rare special XP well that gives you 15% XP for an hour, stacking with all other XP bonuses.
c. Infernal Hordes seem to pay the most XP by far.
Strategy:
a. Farm Realmwalkers for Opals.
b. Run Nightmare Dungeons until you get an XP well for 1 hour of 15% bonus XP.
c. Run as many Infernal Hordes as you can within that hour. (6 vs 8 vs 10). Waves don't impact XP much. Run any of them.
5. Acquiring Ideal Runewords is a significant power boost.
Hints:
a. The Kurast Undercity with a Tribute of Harmony can pay 4 Runes per run.
b. Tormented Bosses are the best way to acquire Legendary Runes.
c. Doing KU and the Bosses are much stronger in a group because only 1 person has to pay the Tribute / Mats to get the rewards. Sharing is caring! Use the Party Finder.
d. You can craft Runes into new ones at the Jeweler.
Strategy:
a. Farm Realmwalkers for Opals.
b. Team Up using the Party Finder to run Kurast Undercity with Tributes of Harmony or Tormented Bosses.
c. Craft up extra Runes at the Jeweler in Town.
6. Masterworking is the final crafting step.
Hints:
a. Nightmare Dungeons drop a ton of Masterworking Materials.
b. The material chest in Infernal Hordes also drops a lot of Masterworking Materials (the "bug" has already been reported and will be fixed).
Strategy:
a. Run Nightmare Dungeons until you get an XP Well.
b. Run Infernal Hordes when you have the XP Well to simultaneously grind Paragon, then open the material chest at the end.
7. Mythic Uniques are insanely rare, heavenly items that turn you into Ultra Instinct Goku.
Hints:
a. They *can drop anywhere*, but they only drop off Tormented Bosses.
b. They drop in Torment 1 or higher difficulties. Increasing the difficulty gives you MORE loot, not BETTER loot.
c. Always kill Tormented Bosses at a party and share the materials for more chances. Duriel and Andariel have the best chances to drop them, but it's very low (2-3%).
d. The best way to get Boss materials, by far, is to run the Kurast Undercity in a group with a Tribute of the Titans (the Unique one can also drop Mythic Uniques).
e. Resplendent Sparks can be used to craft either a random Mythic (2 sparks +50 million gold at the Blacksmith) or a specific one (2 sparks +Runes at the Jeweler).
f. You can acquire Resplendent Sparks in 4 ways:
1). Completing your Season Journey (Limit: 1)
2). Killing Uber Lilith (Limit: 1, currently bugged; Blizzard is fixing it next week, and if you've already killed her, you get your Spark)
3). Killing a Tormented Boss on Torment 4 (Limit: 1, bugged for some people)
4). Salvaging a Mythic Unique
Strategy:
a. Run Kurast Undercity in a group (use the Party Finder) with Tribute of the Titans or Tribute of Ascendance.
b. Run Tormented Bosses in a group (Party Finder) and pray.
c. Complete your Season Journey, Kill a Tormented Boss, and kill Uber Lilith for 3 sparks. d. Craft Mythic Uniques at the Blacksmith and Jeweler.
Prologue: Obvious Things Not Mentioned Previously
1. Always temper your gear, and use the Scroll of Restoration on your best items if you brick them.
2. Craft the highest-level gems you can.
3. Wear Ancestral items over anything else.
4. Reapply legendary powers as you get better versions of them at the Occultist.
5. Reroll your gear for the right stats and, eventually, perfect rolls.
6. Reset your master working rolls when you're rich to get perfect upgrades on them.
7. Upgrade your Potion to Max.
8. Level up your Followers (select them at the Den and check bartering daily - you get 1 reset for free per day).
