Best Gear in New World: Aeternum
Grave Robber
The Grave Robber Hat is a medium-tier equipment with Enchanted Protection and Slashing Adjustment. When you acquire materials in crafting, you can lock in a third attribute with a chance for a very good one to roll. This piece of gear is excellent for both PVE and PVP. The Grave Robber Hat can be obtained from Mutated Dungeons.
Frigid Dawn
The Frigid Dawn Set comes from the Glacier Dungeon, and it can only be obtained when the dungeon is mutated. This set is the best heavy armor in the game, featuring Enchanted Protection and Elemental Resistance—two attributes that cannot appear together on other gear. The Frigid Dawn Set includes the head, chest, gloves, pants, and boots, each extremely powerful and suitable for PVE and PVP use.
Azoth Crystal
The Azoth Crystal is ideal for most PVE DPS builds, featuring Enchanted Protection and Refreshing, allowing fast skill recovery. This set comes in medium and light variants and can be found in any Mutated Dungeon at level M2 or higher. The Azoth Crystal Set is not only great for DPS players but also suitable for healers.
Life Loop
The Life Loop Earrings can be obtained from Mutated Dungeons. These earrings feature Health Toast and Refreshing Toast, with the third attribute being customizable to include Restoration. These earrings are perfect for PVE and PVP, especially for healers and light armor players.
Syncretic Gear
The Syncretic Gear is one of the best-ranged weapons in the game. You'll need to defeat Sickle monsters to obtain this gear. The Syncretic Gear includes Enchanted Protection, Deadly Strikes, and Refreshing, making it suitable for PVE and PVP. Farming in the Brimstone Stands area of the map is recommended.
Life Ring
The Life Ring drops from Elite monsters, which are usually hard to solo, but you'll often have other players helping. This ring is perfect for natural damage builds and drops some really good weapons.
Woodgrain
The Woodgrain Set can be obtained in the Eat and Grow area. This set includes materials for crafting the Angry Goblin Trophy and other high-value items. Farms in this area are recommended to acquire both gear and materials.
Woodgrain Armor
The Woodgrain Armor is a very solid heavy armor set with Elemental Reversal and Health attributes. Before acquiring the Tarn Set, the Woodgrain Armor is a great choice. While the Tarn Set is stronger, the Woodgrain Armor performs quite well.
