In World of Warcraft New Patch 7.2 will include a new raid, new dungeon and many more changes to the game. It's now hit the PTR and getting regular updates, Blizzard will reveal Patch 7.2, its next major content patch, which it is calling "The Tomb of Sargeras." This update will take players back to the Broken Shore, which kicked off the Legion expansion. In the revamped zone, the 12 class order halls will come together to form a new faction: the Armies of Legionfall. Players will need to build up a base as they raise their reputation with the new faction, which will include choosing which buildings are created to unlock different bonuses.

Additionally, Patch 7.2 adds the ability to fly in the Broken Isles, with new Epic Mounts coming for each class, all of which are flying enabled. The patch also marks the return to the Broken Shore, continuing the Class Order Campaign, as well as adding new quests and introducing a new faction: Armies of Legionfall.

Patch 7.2 is now available for testing on the Public Test Realms (PTR). Participating on the Public Test Realms allows you to test a patch before it is released on live realms. Once you’ve had a chance to try things out, visit our PTR Discussion 7.2 forum to discuss the patch. To report issues or errors, use the in-game Submit Bug feature.

Changes

Dungeons and Raids

Enemies’ damage and health have been increased for all Heroic and Mythic dungeons, and the item levels of gear found in Legion Dungeons has been increased. All Random Heroic dungeons now requires 825 item level to queue. The Arcway and Court of Stars have been added to the Random Legion Heroic list in Dungeon Finder. Lower Karazhan and Upper Karazhan have been added to the Random Legion Heroic list in Dungeon Finder.

Items

Set tokens for all raids from Serpentshrine to Siege of Orgrimmar have been updated to provide loot for your spec on right-click, in the same manner as newer raid set tokens. The vendor functionality of these items has not been changed.

Outside of the Broken Shore, Legion Assault events will start happening all over the expansion's five main zones. These events will shut down the regular world quests, replacing them with new quests to help push back the demonic army invasion.

Players will be able to achieve a new set of achievements in Patch 7.2 to unlock flying in the new zone, which hasn't been allowed yet since Legion's launch. In addition to the return of flying, players will be able to earn epic mounts that are unique to each class. These range from a tiger for monks to a skeletal dragon for death knights to a giant wind elemental for shamans, and all will be able to fly.

World of Warcraft's player-versus-player content will receive a new brawl mode inspired by similar brawl modes seen in Hearthstone and Overwatch. Examples of WoW PvP brawls include Packed House, a mode where two 15-player raid groups are dumped into an arena map normally used for a max of three-versus-three match-ups, and winter Arathi Basin, a chilly version of the classic map where visibility has been reduced severely.

After completing the Broken Shore questline and establishing a foothold, you'll be able to challenge the new Tomb of Sargeras raid, which features nine bosses including the corrupted avatar of Sargeras, leader of the Burning Legion, as well as a final showdown against Kil'Jaeden—a longtime enemy in Warcraft lore.

The new Tomb of Sargeras raid will feature nine bosses and the progression of Legion's main plot following the Nighthold raid (which has not yet unlocked in the game). In addition to that, the patch will include a new five-player dungeon called Cathedral of Eternal Night. This four-boss dungeon will also take place in the Tomb of Sargeras area, but players will ascend it rather than descending. It will be available at heroic and mythic difficulty. Likewise, the current mythic-only dungeons in Legion will receive heroic versions for more casual players.

The new raid, dubbed Tomb of Sargeras, which features a total of nine bosses, is where players will explore the depths of the tomb and harness the Pillars of Creation. A new four-boss dungeon called Cathedral of Eternal Night is coming as well.

Flying mounts, class-specific mounts

While you're working to obtain those new mounts and unlock the ability to fly, there's also going to be a ton of smaller rewards to work towards as well. New artifact traits and relics will be revealed, allowing you to power up your weapons even further. A new tier of artifact skins is also being added as the reward for a solo challenge—and my goodness are some of them amazing. Guardian druids continue to get spoiled by Blizzard, as their bear form skin is incredible looking and unlike anything else in the game.

It's a bit daunting, but being able to fly everywhere will absolutely be worth it and you only need to get the achievement once to unlock it for all characters on your account. That's great and all, but one really exciting addition to 7.2 is the introduction of epic mounts specific to each class. You'll need to beat the Broken Shore storyline in order to unlock them, however.

As a status symbol, mounts are a pretty big deal in World of Warcraft. Patch 7.2 will only enhance that by allowing players to take to the skies with flying mounts as seen in previous expansion packs. To do so, players will need to complete a two-part achievement which involves exploring each zone in full, completing their storylines, earning revered status with each main faction, and lots more.

Each class will be receiving their own unique flying-enabled class mount at the end of the Legion experience on the Broken Isles coming in Patch 7.2. When it comes to flying on the Broken Isles, yesterday's panel unveiled some details. Ion confirmed flying on the Broken Isles would be added in the form of a prerequisite Legion Pathfinder achievement.

You will have to experience Legion outdoor content to unlock flying, such as earning Exalted with the Armies of Legionfall faction that will be introduced in Patch 7.2. All Class Order Halls will have new quests available and finishing them is also needed for the Broken Isles Pathfinder. Once unlocked, you will gain access to flying on all your characters, across your entire account.

Updated Features

Class Combat Updates

The launch of Legion included many updates to class animations, sounds, and spell effects. These will continue in Patch 7.2 with updates to Hunters, Death Knights, and Balance Druids. More are on the way.

Transmogrification Sets

A new ‘Sets’ tab in the Appearances UI is where you’ll find this new way of tracking item sets from previous Raids, PvP Seasons, and more.

Legion Reputation Updates

Reputation earned beyond Exalted will now contribute towards earning additional rewards from Broken Isles faction emissaries.

Tab Targeting

In Patch 7.2, tab targeting should feel more natural. While in combat, you will no longer be able to accidentally tab to a target that is out of combat with you. Furthermore, you’re no longer able to tab to a target that neither your character nor your camera can see. This is very much a work-in-progress, and your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Finally, Patch 7.2 will see some additions to artifact system. New artifact traits will be added to each artifact weapon, as well as the ability to purchase additional points in existing traits. Players will need to work through new quests to unlock these new trait options. There will also be a sixth appearance to unlock for each artifact weapon, which will be opened up via solo play challenges.

While Hazzikostas wasn't able to give a date for the patch, it can probably be expected around late spring of 2017. The second raid tier, The Nighthold, hasn't even launched yet and won't be available until early 2017, meaning there's going to be several months before Blizzard rolls out the Tomb of Sargeras.

Above is the new patch 7.2 prediction, for every player reference. In addition, you may know that buying game virtual currency has risks but sometimes you have to do so.
