Last Epoch Season 2 Endgame Guide: Mastering the Weaver Tree

With the release of Season 2: Tombs of the Erased in Last Epoch, the new Weaver Tree has added a deep layer of customization and progression for endgame players. Luckily, Moxsy shared a guide on his YouTube channel to help us understand the Weaver Tree. Whether you're farming corruption, targeting specific boss drops, or optimizing Nemesis encounters, this guide will help you get the most out of the system.

Getting Started: The Woven Faction

To begin your Weaver Tree journey, press Y to open the Factions menu and select The Woven. This faction is tied directly to the Weaver Tree and determines how many points you have to invest.

How to Rank Up with The Woven

To rank up in the Woven faction, one important thing to do is to spend your Memory Amber. You can gain Memory Amber by completing Tombs and Cemeteries and killing enemies and bosses within those maps. At the end of each map, you'll find a Weaver Idol. Interact with it to enchant one of your equipped idols. You can enchant the same idol multiple times or different idols. You can also enchant even if all your current idols are already enchanted — the purpose is to earn reputation, not just the idol effect.

Tip: Prioritize idol types that benefit your build (e.g., crit idols for crit builds), but don't hesitate to enchant randomly to progress faster.

How to Earn Weaver Tree Points

You earn Weaver Tree points in two ways:

Top Weaver Tree Nodes to Prioritize

1. Anchored Reality (3/3)

2. Woven Riches Slot

Lets you imprint a Woven Echo, which can then randomly appear on your Echo web.

Recommended Echo: Collapsing Horizon — adds a Harbinger impersonating the timeline boss

3. Warlord's Riches / Echoing Riches

These allow you to slot an armor or jewelry base, and you will get piles of that item base as an extra reward when you receive Echo rewards. For example, slotting boots boosts boot drops — ideal if you're farming for specific uniques. Only the item base matters — affixes/stats are irrelevant.

4. Champion & Boss Enhancers

These are for players looking to "juice" their maps:

5. If you are engaging with the Nemesis system, try these nodes:

6. The Abyssal Trap – Unlocks Shades of Orobyss ambushes during Echoes. They drop loot as if you had run a normal Shade. It can drop powerful items like the Omnis Amulet (+1 to all skills)

7. Opulent Usurpers – Exiled Mages have a higher chance to drop gear with +1 to skill affixes, which are very valuable. If you don't get the exact item you want, you can still break these down into shards and use them to craft skills onto better gear.

8. Weaver's Will and Prime Weaver Node Some builds use Weaver's Will items. The Prime Weaver node lets you roll Weaver's Will effects twice and keep the better result. Weaver's Will items with high-tier rolls are very valuable and can also help you earn currency.

Woven Echoes

Oerden's Watch – Lets you swap stats between Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity, and Attunement.

(Note: You can't swap Vitality.)

Farsight Turtle
Allows you to reroll Legendary Potential (LP) on a unique item. It can increase or decrease LP. It's a gamble — most results will still be 0 LP, but you might get lucky.

Cemeteries vs. Tombs

If you see a Weaver icon on your map, this is the cemetery.

After clearing it, you can use an altar as usual and get a device that lets you place Woven Echoes onto your timeline. Tombs you find randomly do not let you do this.

The Woven Echo Placement is great for pushing corruption past the Shade of Orobyss wall. And it is also very helpful for target farming. For example, Woven Vessel of Chaos lets you reroll surrounding node rewards, and Woven Vessel of Memory lets you repeat rewards from nearby nodes. Additionally, if two nodes offer set gear, you can run them, place the Woven Vessel of Memory, and run them again for more chances and rewards.
