The Starlight Celebration, themed "Cold Skies, Warm Hearts," is the 2024 Christmas event in Final Fantasy XIV. It will run from Monday, December 16, 2024, at 12:00 a.m. PST to Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at 6:59 a.m. PST, and start in Old Gridania at Mih Khetto's Amphitheatre, where players can begin the "Reach for the Stalls" quest by speaking to Amh Garanjy. You need to be at least level 15 in the game to participate in this event. What about the rewards? Well, there are five items.
Rewards
You can get five items for rewards by doing the event or purchase them from the vendor with ff14 gil. The first item you can get is a barding piece - Starlight Stalls Barding, which is a suit of chocobo armor designed and crafted by the Saint of Nymeia himself in order to help spread warmth and cheer at the Starlight Stalls.
Then, there are some housing items. First is Starlight Kinderpunsch, which is a steaming hot spiced beverage served in a decorative mug, the perfect pick-me-up for the cold and weary. This is a tabletop item that can be used 10 times.
The second housing item is the Starlight Mug Tower. The best part of drinking Kinderpunsch is that after you've had a few, you can stack the mugs to form this festive Starlight decoration.
We can also get a decorative poster called Festive Starlight Celebration Advertisement, a hand-painted notice advertising the Starlight Celebration of a year gone by. Of course, all of these event items by next year will be added to the cash shop, which is usually the customary case.
The last one we can get is Winter's Warm Boughs Orchestrion Roll. It says, "Music roll for Winter's Warm Boughs. Use to add to your orchestrion list."
Snowman Mount
Additionally, there's a special snowman mount available through a Twitch promotion. By gifting three subscriptions to a streamer between December 18 and the end of the event, you can earn this mount.
