Welcome to the ultimate guide for mastering the Paragon system in Diablo 4 Season 6! Whether you're a seasoned veteran or a newcomer eager to maximize your character's potential, the leveling guide shared by RageGamingvideos on their YouTube channel will provide you with the essential strategies and tips to quickly accumulate Paragon points. Now, let's dive in.

New Paragon System in Season 6 Explained

The Paragon Board unlocks at Level 60. From that point onward, you earn 1 Paragon point for each Paragon Level, up to a maximum of Paragon Level 300. These points can be spent on various nodes within the Paragon Board system. Paragon Levels are shared across all characters on your account, provided they are on the same realm (Eternal/Seasonal) and game mode (Softcore/Hardcore). Additionally, each region of Sanctuary grants you four extra Paragon points upon reaching the fourth milestone of the Renown system.

A total of 328 Paragon points can be earned and allocated, capping out the finite Paragon Board system. This includes:

•  300 Paragon points from reaching Paragon Level 300

•  24 Paragon points through Renown from each region in Sanctuary

•  4 Paragon points from Altars of Lilith

The XP Increases

First, before doing anything, you need to make sure the four XP increasers are active; otherwise, you will gain less XP.

The first and most important is your Season Blessings. On the left, you have the four levels of the Urn of Aggression, which gives us 740% more XP from Monster kills, and as it says, the bonus is now a multiplier, which is absolutely insane.

To get Urn of Aggression, you need to get Smoldering Ashes from the Battle Pass by simply progressing it. The fastest way to progress and get these Smoldering Ashes is through the Season Journey, which has specific tasks for you and also gives you Favor. Getting these big chunks of Favor will boost your Battle Pass level and is one of the key ways to get the initial four levels of the four Smoldering Ashes and get the XP increases.

Then, we also have a new consumable, Seething Opals. There are five types in total, but the one recommended for raw leveling is Seething Opal of Torment because it makes it more likely to get Infernal Compasses, which is one of the prime resources we use to level up effectively. Using any of these Opals can let you gain 15% increased XP for 30 minutes, which is nearly double what we get from Elixir. Also, be aware that there are two levels to Elixir now: level one will provide you with a 5% increased XP, while level two will give you 8%. You will find them in the game, but you can still craft them at any Alchemist, with level one being Basic Elixirs and level two being Advanced Elixirs.

The last and least important one is Incense, which increases XP by 5% and lasts 20 minutes. It's pretty expensive for an extra 5%, but if your goal is pure XP, and you know you're about to grind for the next 20 minutes, it's worth it and makes you stronger.

If you're hard grinding XP to level your Paragon, these four increases can be a big help; otherwise, you're leveling slower than you should.

Torment (Pace VS Difficulty)

The next is Torment, which is a high-level difficulty system introduced in the Vessel of Hatred expansion. It replaces the old World Tier system and offers a more challenging experience for seasoned players. There are four Torment difficulty levels. Most players are fine in level one and two; anyone with a proper build is fine in three, and then, it's the highest level builds that function in Torment level four. You can get 300%, 400%, 500%, and 600% more Diablo IV gold and XP from Monster kills at level one, two, three, and four, respectively.

We'd all like to play level four for maximum efficiency, but you need to be aware of the challenge versus your pace. Let's say you're able to clear Torment level two content really well, but if you feel much slower in Torment 3, then it's probably not worth it to farm in Torment 3 now. So, identify the highest difficulty you can do, and then aim to push into higher tiers as soon as you can, if possible, as another way to maximize your XP.

The Undercity

The three best options for farming Paragon XP are Infernal Hodes, the Pits, and the new Undercity. It's funny that regarding the Undercity, we were told that it would be a great or best way to level up in the new season. But in reality, you didn't unlock it until you were at level 60. It is a fantastic method for farming specific gear, but for leveling, Undercity is a tame way to level compared to Pits and Infernal Hordes. What we get from it is some basic drops. Besides, in the leveling process, you need to use a specific Tribute - Tribute of Growth, which increases the actual XP bonus for completing the Undercity. So, of the three best options for farming XP, Undercity is the worst one. But that's not to say the Undercity doesn't have clear value and purpose; it's just not the best for farming XP for your Paragon.

The Pits

The Pits are an incredibly valuable form of content; not only are they how you unlock higher levels of Torment, but it is you can level up your Glyphs. Getting your Glyphs to rank 15 will extend their Radius, which influences the effectiveness of Glyphs. Get them to Legendary status, give them new passive benefits, and sometimes raw damage multipliers, and that's the way to make yourself clear faster and get XP faster.

The problems with Pits include that the mob packs are a lot more spread than other content, and you'll have to deal with some awkward setups and Elites. Ideally, do the highest level of Pit you can while blasting, and 5 minutes or less is fine. If it takes you significantly longer than that, it means you're at a high level.

Infernal Hordes

Infernal Hordes is a top option for XP farming. As we all know, we have Compasses here, which we used to be able to craft and get in different ways, but basically, the primary way we're getting Compasses consistently is by having the new Opals of Torment active, which can increase the drop rate of Infernal Compasses. When we're in the endgame, you'll get Compasses for wave caps of six, eight, and ten. So, for the purpose of max XP farming, a ten-wave Compass is the best option. Here, we can get the most dense mod packs to clear in the game.

More Aether means better rewards at the end, but if your purpose is XP, you could ignore it. So, we care more about mob density and efficient progress. The best way to level up is to defeat more Elites, particularly Hellborn, because you get Invigorates, which allows you to kill mobs significantly faster while you're in the Hordes. Of course, try to get as much Aether as possible to have greater chests with great Uniques and even greater affixes potential or a load of materials for Masterworking. Infernal Hordes is the one to go if you're looking to farm Paragon effectively for raw leveling.
