Today mmogah as one of the best overwatch boosting sites shows Elo system and the details of Ranked skill rating to overwatch's fans.
Elo System
Elo is a standard ranking system. Almost every ranking system in modern games is based on the Elo system which was developed for chess ranking. When you’re playing competitive mode, the Elo system calculates the probability of winning for each team, and it can work out how fair the match is. In this system, you stay on the same team for multiple rounds.
If you win, you will gain points; if you lose, you will lose points. Furthermore, you will gain more points for beating someone whose ranking is higher, and you will lose more points for losing to someone whose ranking is lower. It’s easy to compute, apply and can be changed continuously while being a fairly good indication of skill level.
To generalize Elo to team games, there's two factors you'd use. First, if your team's average ranking was lower than the opposite team's average ranking, you can get more points when you win. Second, if your ranking is lower than your team's average ranking, you should get more points to win.
What are the benefits of a proper competitive ELO system?
1. If you lose, you will be punished. This may sound discouraging at first, but in reality, it is extremely necessary for a competitive scenario. It enables a fear to lose, so teammates are forced to communicate.
2. Many more rewards. It is much more rewarding to win a game where the stakes of losing are higher, especially against a skilled team with the same mindset as yours. People naturally feel more victorious. You actually feel encouraged to progress and raise your skill level.
3. More competitive. You should have a competitive mindset to raise your skill level and constantly contribute something to your team. Keep your passion to compete, it's truly something you gain from the heat of the moment and experience.
Ranked Skill Rating
Every new player must compete 10 placement matches first, in order to obtain player initial skill rating. The more placement matches you win, the higher skill rating you will start off. The skill rating is a little counterintuitive compared to other games, as it goes from 1 to 100 where 1 represents the worst skill rating and 100 is the best, with a majority of players settling around the center at 50.
Skill ratings will be visible at the beginning of every match. After each game, a player will either gain or lose progress towards the next skill ranking tier. The amount of progress gained or lost depends several factors, including the difference between each team's average skill rating, the win rates of heroes on a given map, individual performance and the skills of other teammates.
Rewards
At the end of each season, if you have completed the 10 placement matches, you will receive a player icon and special spray, with a new set of designs being released every season. If you manage to fight your way into the top 500 players on your platform, you'll achieve Heroic status.
One Competitive Point is awarded for winning a match in Competitive Play. You also receive Competitive Points at the end of each season based on your performance. These points can be used to unlock special cosmetic items, such as Golden Weapon skins.
All in all, it is not easy to master Elo system and win the matches. Most players don’t have much time to play the game, and mmogah as a reliable and elite overwatch power leveling seller can cater to you. We’ll get you out of the low rating trench, and help you to level up fast, even you’re at work, school, or fall asleep in the middle of the night.
