In the new Elden Ring DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, players have access to a wide array of powerful weapons. To help you navigate through the options, KhrazeGaming has compiled a list of eight top-tier weapons that you'll definitely want to get your hands on. His video has provided valuable insights on where to find these weapons and why they are worth acquiring.

Bloodfiend's Arm

This colossal weapon scales with Strength, Dexterity, and Arcane, making it a versatile choice for various builds. Its unique attributes include a strong attack that sprays blood, causing high bleeding buildup. This weapon can be infused and buffed, further enhancing its capabilities. With its heavy attack causing additional bleed effects, the Bloodfiend's Arm excels in dealing sustained damage, particularly in bleed and arcane-focused builds.

Bloodfiend's Folk

As Bloodfiend's Arm's sister weapon, Bloodfiend's Folk scales primarily with Strength and Arcane, making it a great choice for players who are building around Bleed effects. It comes with the Barbaric Roar weapon skill, which significantly increases your physical damage dealt and alters Strong Attack to Savage Combo Attacks. Additionally, the Bloodfiend's Fork can provoke blood loss, which is a valuable attribute in combat, especially against certain types of enemies. Last but not least, it can be upgraded to +25 using Smithing Stones, allowing for further enhancement of its capabilities.

Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword

The Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword is a Colossal Sword that does both physical and magic damage, making it versatile against a variety of foes. Its weapon skill, White Light Charge skill, allows you to charge at foes and release a potent blast of light magic. This greatsword scales with Strength, Dexterity, and Arcane, which means it can be a punishing weapon when paired with strength builds. It is also effective if you have a high Arcane stat.

Fashioned from an excavated shard of an arrowhead that once was a part of the Old gods' arsenal, the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword is a capable piercing weapon that excels at thrusting attacks.

Dragon-Hunter's Great Katana

The Dragon-Hunter's Great Katana has a base physical attack of 152, which is quite strong for a katana. As the name suggests, it has an anti-dragon effect, making it particularly effective against dragon-type enemies. It causes blood loss buildup (55), which can be a game-changer in battles as it can quickly weaken opponents.

Its Dragonwound Slash skill is unique to this weapon, and it cloaks the armament with a jagged gravel-stone aura before performing a high leaping slash, which can be charged to also fire off the aura.

The Dragon-Hunter's Great Katana requires 15 Strength and 20 Dexterity to wield and scales with these stats, making it a good fit for strength and dexterity builds. What is more, it can be upgraded with Somber Smithing Stones, enhancing its capabilities further.

Sword of Darkness

The Sword of Darkness scales with Strength, Dexterity, and Faith, which allows for versatile build options and can deal significant physical and holy damage. It possesses a unique skill called "Darkness", which releases clouds of damage-dealing darkness, dealing holy damage that scales with your Faith stat.

The recommended build parameters suggest a high level with a focus on Strength, Dexterity, and Faith, indicating that the weapon can be quite potent when used with the right character build.

Sword of Light

Like the Sword of Darkness, it scales with Strength, Dexterity, and Faith, making it a versatile weapon for players with builds that focus on these stats.

The Sword of Light has a unique weapon skill called "Light", which emits a small area of lasers around the player for a few seconds before providing a temporary bonus to Holy damage. This boost to Holy damage is 20 percent and lasts for approximately one minute.

To obtain the Sword of Light, players must first acquire the Stone-Sheathed Sword and then transform it at an Altar of Light. This process allows players to convert the base weapon into either the Sword of Light or the Sword of Darkness, depending on the altar used.

Rakashasa's Great Katana

The Rakashasa's Great Katana inflicts significant bleed damage, which can be particularly effective against enemies and bosses susceptible to this effect.

The weapon comes with the skill "Weed Cutter", which allows for scythe-like horizontal swings that have a high bleed buildup. This makes it effective in combat, especially with additional inputs that can extend the attack as long as the player has enough stamina. When attacking, the wielder is less likely to stagger from counterattacks, allowing for more aggressive play. However, this comes at the cost of taking increased damage.

The Rakashasa's Great Katana scales well with Dexterity and Strength, making it a suitable weapon for players focusing on these stats.

Star-Lined Sword

The Star-Lined Sword scales with Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence, which means it can benefit from a wide range of character builds. Its unique skill, Onze's Line of Stars, imbues sorcerous energy into the glintstone line for enhanced slashing attacks. Repeated inputs allow for up to two follow-up attacks, each dealing greater damage than the last.

The Star-Lined Sword has a passive effect that causes blood loss buildup, which can be devastating against enemies vulnerable to bleeding.

Lastly, the Star-Lined Sword can be upgraded with Somber Smithing Stones, enhancing its damage output and making it even more lethal as you progress.

Those are the eight must-have weapons in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. Do you have a favorite weapon? Is there another weapon that should be included on the list? Please share your comments in the video's comment section.
