Final Fantasy XIV is not all about leveling and killing; it also contains other mini-games within the Manderville Gold Saucer. Let's see what other games you can play once you own an FFXIV account.

The Gold Saucer

What is the Manderville Gold Saucer

The Manderville Gold Saucer is a game center in Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV). It is a massive entertainment venue inspired by the Gold Saucer from Final Fantasy VII. Located in Ul'dah, the Manderville Gold Saucer offers various mini-games, attractions, and activities for players to enjoy.

Within the Manderville Gold Saucer, players can participate in various activities such as Chocobo Racing, Triple Triad (a card game), Lord of Verminion (a real-time strategy game), and several other unique mini-games. Players can earn Manderville Gold Saucer Points (MGP) by participating in these games, which can purchase various rewards, including rare mounts, minions, cosmetic items, and exclusive housing items.

The Gold Saucer also hosts special events like the Make It Rain Campaign, available right now, providing players with additional chances to win rewards and enjoy new content. It serves as a place where players can take a break from their adventuring, engage in light-hearted entertainment, and socialize with other players.

How to Access the Manderville Gold Saucer

Players can access the Manderville Gold Saucer by completing the "It Could Happen to You" quest at level 15 in Ul'dah. The quest giver is named Well-heeled Youth, located at Steps of Nald (X: 9.6 Y: 9.0). Players have to complete the main scenario quests "The Gridanian Envoy," "The Ul'dahn Envoy," or "The Lominsan Envoy" first.

What is Manderville Gold Saucer Points (MGP)

The Manderville Gold Saucer Points (MGP) is the currency used within the Manderville Gold Saucer. Players can earn MGP by participating in various activities and mini-games at the Gold Saucer.

When you are running low on Gil, you can buy some FFXIV Gil with real money and have someone deliver it to you in the game within a short range of time, but when you are running low on MGP, you can't simply buy them because MGP is untradeable, you have to win them, and don't worry if you are a new player, you can purchase MGP with gil by speaking with the Gold Saucer Attendant at Entrance Square (X:4.8 Y:6.7) upon first arriving.
