About the Make It Rain Campaign

Make It Rain Campaign is another seasonal event in FFXIV that allows players to earn some extra resources and get free rewards and discounts. The event revolves around the Manderville Gold Saucer, where players can take part in several activities (mini-games) and earn Manderville Gold Saucer Points (MGP). These points can be exchanged for rewards and sweet discounts for some items.

Make It Rain Campaign 2023 Date

The long-going traditional seasonal event returns for the 8th consecutive year on Friday, 30 June 2023 at 8:00 (GMT) / 18:00 (AEST). The event will be live for over two weeks, till Monday, 17 July 2023 at 14:59 (GMT) / Tuesday, 18 July at 0:59 (AEST), giving players plenty of time to earn more MGP and claim their rewards.

Make It Rain Campaign 2023 Requirements

The upcoming event is open to almost everyone as its requirements are fairly low. To take part in the event, players must have a Disciple of War or Magic job at level 15 and have the main scenario quests "The Gridanian Envoy," "The Ul'dahn Envoy," or "The Lominsan Envoy" completed. Once these requirements are met, players can speak to Kipih Jakkya in Ul'dah Steps of Nald (X9.4, Y9.2) to start the quest "A Golden Opportunity."

Make It Rain Campaign Rewards

Unlike most other events, the Make It Rain Campaigns usually do not pack a ton of rewards. Instead, they boost players' MGP earnings for the time period, allowing them to hoard up the virtual currency faster. This time the event brings a short new story alongside a 50% MGP payout boost for every source from The Gold Saucer.

Additionally, some items, including The Crystal Tower striker, Monster Toss machine, Cuff-a-Cur machine, and prizes from previous Make It Rain Campaigns, are offered at a reduced price if you failed to grab them the last time the event was around. Apart from that, players are also awarded a wind-up version of Godbert Manderville (minion), the owner of The Gold Saucer himself.

MGP only unlocks certain cosmetic rewards/items in the game, and you need the main in-game currency Gil to purchase other items and gear in FFXIV. If you are running low, you can buy some safe FFXIV Gil to top up your balance for a low price!

The Make It Rain Campaign is a great opportunity to earn some extra MGP to unlock that mount, minion, or glamours that were once out of your reach due to high price tags. So take this opportunity to hoard some MGP and add new mounts and minions to your collection!
