Rush: A New Way to Play and Win

One of the most exciting additions to Ultimate Team in EA Sports FC 25 is the introduction of Rush, a new game mode that allows you to compete in 5v5 matches with friends. In Rush, you can select your favorite player to control and build your dream 5-a-side squad with up to three friends. The mode also features AI-controlled goalkeepers, offering a fresh and dynamic gaming experience. You can compete for rewards in 5v5 matches, adding a new dimension to the Ultimate Team gameplay.

Events and Squad Building in Rush

When playing Rush, you will have the opportunity to participate in various events that offer unique challenges and restrictions on player items. These events are designed to test your squad-building skills by imposing specific entry requirements based on player rarity, attributes, countries/regions, leagues, and clubs. Additionally, Rush introduces a collaborative squad-building experience, where you must work together to select players that perform on the pitch and meet block requirements to maximize Rush Points earned.

Earning Rush Points and Objectives

Earning Rush Points is essential for completing Weekly Objectives and reaping the rewards in Rush. These points can be obtained by winning matches, playing with friends, and completing block requirements with your team. The quickest way to earn Rush Points is by winning matches with friends in your group, but there are various other methods as well.

Blocks are optional challenges that your team can collectively solve, offering opportunities to earn more Rush Points. These challenges may vary from event to event and can target player attributes, team composition, and more. Successfully completing these blocks will reward your entire team with bonus Rush Points, which can come in the form of flat points, multipliers, or conditional bonuses.

Additionally, a Rush Objective Group is available each week, allowing you to earn rewards based on the Rush Points accumulated during that week. By participating in Rush events and meeting block requirements, you can increase the amount of Rush Points earned for you and your team. While these Rush Objectives are available weekly, there may also be additional objectives related to Rush, providing further opportunities to earn rewards.

Matchmaking and Team Composition

Matchmaking in Rush is designed to accommodate group sizes of up to 4 gamers, allowing solo, duo, or trio gamers to be matched with others to complete their team. The system takes into consideration your skill level within Rush to ensure balanced teams and fair competition. Additionally, when finding opponents, the overall skill level of the team is also taken into account.

To maintain fairness, matchmaking pools are separated based on events, ensuring that you are competing with others who have similar event entry requirements and eligible pools of Player Items.

In the event that a gamer leaves a match in-progress, their chosen player will be controlled by AI. However, it's important to note that if all gamers on a team are not present, the match will end.

In summary, Rush offers the flexibility to build a 5v5 squad with friends while optimizing Rush Points. You can then compete to win and complete Objectives for exciting rewards.

FC IQ: Overhauled Tactics and Manager Items

Another significant addition to Ultimate Team in EA Sports FC 25 is FC IQ, which offers greater control over team strategy in 11v11 matches. FC IQ introduces a new AI model powered by real-world data, influencing player tactics through all-new Player Roles. Manager Items now come with Tactical Presets, allowing you to emulate real-world tactical setups and influence your team's playing style.

Manager Presets

Manager Presets are an essential feature in Manager Items, allowing you to customize your team's tactical preferences based on real-world strategies. These presets enable you to influence your team's playing style and experiment with new tactical approaches without starting from scratch. With Tactical Presets, you can try out different team setups and experience new playing styles.

You can utilize the Tactical Preset of your active Manager and save it to a Tactics slot. This allows you to assign it as your starting tactic or switch to it reactively during a match. The feature empowers you to adapt your team's formation and positions based on your preferred playing style and strategic preferences. Overall, Manager Presets offers you the flexibility to tailor your team's tactics to match your individual preferences and enhance your overall gaming experience.

Duplicate Storage and SBCs

In an effort to streamline player management, FC 25 introduces a new storage system for untradeable duplicate players as part of Squad Building Challenges (SBCs). This system allows you to store untradeable duplicate player items directly in SBC Storage, eliminating the need to sell duplicates quickly. With a capacity to hold up to 100 untradeable items, SBC Storage offers convenience and organization for participating in SBCs.

Division Rivals: Improved Rewards and Progression

Division Rivals receives several enhancements in FC 25 to improve the overall experience for players. The reward system has been adjusted to be based on points instead of wins, ensuring that your efforts in close matches contribute to weekly rewards progress. Additionally, the design of weekly Rivals rewards has been streamlined for better clarity and relevance to your Ultimate Team journey.

Checkpoints, Relegation, and Contract Removal

In an effort to enhance the competitive experience in Rivals, FC 25 is implementing changes to the checkpoint system and introducing relegation in the highest divisions.

Moving forward, Division 1 and Division 2 will no longer feature any Checkpoints. Furthermore, losing a match at the beginning of a Division will now result in relegation to the end of the previous Division. It's important to note that once you reach the Elite Division, you will be immune to relegation until the end of the season.

Additionally, the developers have taken into consideration the feedback provided by the community and have decided to reduce the total number of Checkpoints.

Furthermore, contract items have been removed from the game to streamline gameplay and reduce general management tasks for players and managers.

In conclusion, FC 25 brings a wealth of new features and improvements to Ultimate Team, offering players an enhanced gaming experience with innovative game modes, tactical control, storage enhancements, and streamlined progression systems. With these additions, EA Sports FC 25 is poised to deliver an exciting and engaging Ultimate Team experience for fans of the franchise.
