Dear Exile! Today, the Professional Gaming Store MmoGah will show you Goroshi Slam Build-Chieftain Marauder of Path of Exile Legion. You can read this article or watch the original video to learn more about this build.

EQUIPMENT

This build isn’t cheap, because Oni Goroshi (6 Linked Weapon) is mandatory, and it costs 1 Exalted Orb. But it already comes 6 linked what usually costs around 6 Exalted Orbs. So this build isn’t cheap to make but it’s cheaper to get to full potential. Personally I recommend start this build only after buying Oni Goroshi, because you can equip it since level 2 and it’s great to level with it.

Important Note: This build needs Warlord’s Mark (Strength Skill Gem) to sustain mana, so you should look for a ring with “Warlord’s Mark on hit”.

Mandatory Uniques

Oni-Goroshi: Up to 90% increased Critical Strike Chance. It grants Her Embrace when you ignite an enemy, it means 123% physical damage as extra fire damage, 20% attack and movement speed, Immune to Stun, Freeze, Chill and Ignite.

Essence Worm: This Unique Ring gives you the chance to use an Aura without reserving more mana. Let’s use it to boost your DPS with the Aura Anger.

Recommended Uniques

Starkonja’s Head: It is my favorite Helmet for this build, because it’s meant to be tanky, and we need lots of Dexterity. It grants up to 100 Life and 10% Attack Speed. Huge evasion boost in times of need (when on low Life).

Abyssus: If you want to destroy a Big Boss like The Shaper, you can wear it that provides 40-60 Physical Damage to Attacks and up to 125% Critical Multiplier. But it also increases in up to 50% the total Physical Damage Taken, so use it with caution.

Loreweave: It’s not a cheap Body Aormour, but it’s the best to boost your damage. It grants up to 50% increased Elemental Damage, 60% increased Global Critical Chance and adds 10-36 physical damage to attacks. If you are using an Oni-Goroshi, this body armour also helps to mitigate the Fire damage per second caused by “Her Embrace”. Because with it, your maximum resistances are up to 80%.

Belly of the Beast: Up to 40% Increased Maximum Life and 15% to all Elemental Resistance.

Recommended Flasks

Divine Life Flask: Your Divine Life Flasks must have Instant Recover. To maximize your defenses, look for “Immune to Bleeding” as secondary Stat.

Diamond Flask: For more Crits. Look for Increased Duration and Increased Armour as Secondary Mods.

The Wise Oak: Mainly because the 15% Penetration. But remember your uncapped Fire Resistance must be the highest. Keep in mind that if you have the same uncapped value for all 3 elemental resistances, you are going to get the Offensive and Deffensive Buff for all Elements, just like the Avatar.

Lion’s Roar: Up to 25% More Physical Damage to be converted to Fire Damage.

Atziri’s Promise: It’s an offensive Flask that provides a huge boost to your DPS and also Increases your Leech. If you don’t have one, you can buy it, because it fits in 95% of PoE Builds.

Rumi’s Concoction: This is a defensive flask that not only grants 3000 Armour but also a good chance to block attacks and spells.

Cinderswallow Urn: This Flask is awesome, because it grants the Onslaugh buff and cause ignited enemies to take 10% more damage.

My Gameplay Gear

This is the gear I’ve used to record the gameplay seen on this guide. Please note that my equipment is not perfect, you can achieve way more with an expensive one. Every piece is fully linked.

Recommended Enchantments

Of Fury Chance to Charge Slam Elemental Penetration
- Repeatedly fires a piercing projectile based on your weapon. Good for clearing. - Tectonic Slam has 20% more chance to create a charged slam. - Damage penetrates 10% of Enemy Elemental Resistance if you haven’t killed recently.

Full Build Attribute Requirments

Strength 155 Dexterity 155

Intelligence 111

- Super easy to acquire, just with your Passive Tree. - Hard to acquire, look for Dex on your rare PoE Items. You can also pick the +30 Dex nodes on your Passive Tree. - Hard to acquire, look for Int on your rare items.

GEMS

Your Sword is an Oni Goroshi, so it’s already 6L. You can already use this mean setup seen on your upside. Change Increased Area of Effect for Concentrated Effect when facing Bosses. I rather this than Pulverise because we get more single target damage and I can’t stand the Attack Speed loss.

First of all, this Chest does not need to be 6L, just 5L. Blood Rage doesn’t need to be linked to any other support gem. Steelskin grants a shield that absorbs incoming damage, it’ll be automatically casted when you take damage. Vaal Grace grants a huge chance to dodge attacks and spells, use it on bosses. Vaal Haste grants a huge attack speed buff, use it on bosses. Blood Rage grants attack speed and Frenzy charges.

Stone Golem grants more life regenerated per second. It’ll be automatically summoned when you take damage. Leep Slam is a good movement skill.

Herald of Ash grants Physical Damage as Extra Fire Damage. Blood and Sand grants more area of effect or area damage depending on the stance. Use Sand for Clear and Blood for Bosses. Precision grants more accuracy and critical strike chance.

Ancestral Warchief grants more attack damage. Ancestral Protector grants more attack speed. With Culling Strike, you can instant kill enemies with 10% life or lower.

This Aura must be on your Essence Worm, it will highly increase your DPS.

SKILL TREE

JEWELS

Look for the following stats on rare Jewels: Physical Damage, Melee Damage, Fire Damage, Attack Speed, Area Damage, Critical Multiplier and Maximum Life.

Watcher’s Eye: An anger Watcher’s Eye can be used to maximize your damage. X% of Physical Damage as extra Fire Damage while affected by Anger. This is not mandatory, but it’s a good way to optimize your damage.

LEVELING

Tips for Easy Level (beginner friendly)

As Main Skill use Frost Blades from lvl 1 to 28, then change to Tectonic Slam.

Leveling Setup of Links (main skill)

- When you reach lvl 8, support your Frost Blades with Added Cold Damage. When you reach lvl 18, add Elemental Damage with Attacks and Melee Physical Damage.

- Once you reach lvl 28, change Frost Blades for Tectonic Slam. Change Added Cold Damage for Faster Attacks. Also replace Melee Physical Damage with Fortify.

- Once you reach lvl 38, change Faster Attacks for Multistrike.

- On lvl 28 you can start using an Ancestral Warchief and Ancestral Protector as Auxiliary Damage. It’s supported by Multiple Totems and Culling Strike.

Auras

Herald of Ash: At lvl 28, you can start using it for a DPS Boost.

Blood and Sand: It can be also activated on level 28. Sand for Clear, and Blood for Bosses.

Precision: Active it as soon as you remove Resolute Technique.

Ager: Activate it when you get your Essence Worm ring.

Recommended Items

Gloom Circle Two-Stone Ring: Elreon Rings and Amulet with -8 to Mana Cost of Skills are awesome to Level any Build. Low level ones might hard to acquire if you are not playing on Standard. If you are playing on the Challenge League, I have another Ring for you.

Praxi: You can use it at lvl 22. Up to 85 Mana. Up to 6 Mana regenerated per second. Up to -8 to total Mana cost of skill. Awesome for Leveling without worrying about mana.

Mark of Submission: While you don’t have the Ring with Warlord’s Mark on hit, I recommend you to use this Unique Ring with the Warlord’s Mark gem. It will not only provide life and mana leech, but also more endurance charges.

Lochtonial Caress: You can use it at lvl 1. It is pretty cheap and awesome for Leveling, and high amount of Attack Speed.

Wanderlust: It can be used at lvl 3. Mostly because of the 20% increased movement speed that always helps a lot the leveling process. (Seven-League Step is way better but too expensive). Frozen immunity is awesome as well.

Tabula Rasa: It can be used at lvl 1. The ultimate leveling equipment, it provides a 6L Body Armour starting on level 1. It helps a lot your leveling process but it’s not mandatory at all. It’s not that cheap either costing around 20 Chaos Orb.

Goldrim: You can use it at lvl 1. Up to 40% to all Elemental Resistances. If you are having problems with survivability, a Goldrim might be the answer. It is pretty cheap.

Asenath’s Mark: It’s an Offensive Helmet, and you can use it at lvl 8. It is pretty cheap, and it’s awesome for leveling. High amount of Attack Speed.

String of Servitude: You can use it at lvl 1. It is pretty cheap. You can get one with up to +48% to all Elemental Resistances, and this is another way to get a lot of Elemental Resistances.

Important Note

Oni-Goroshi is also the best leveling weapon for this build. If you have one, you can start using on level 2 and it will be your main weapon forever. If you still don’t have Oni-Goroshi or just don’t want to use it, follow the upcoming weapon suggestions:

The Princess: You can use it at lvl 10. It’s pretty cheap and it’s awesome for leveling. High amount of Attack Speed and Attack Damage. Use two of them.

Lakishu’s Blade: You can use it at lvl 28. It’s pretty cheap. Better amount of Attacks Speed and Attacks Damage. Use two of them until lvl 47.

Innsbury Edge: You can use it at lvl 47. It’s pretty cheap and great DPS.

Ichimonji: You can use it at lvl 58. If you came until this level without buying Oni Goroshi, it’s time to start looking for it.

That’s all about this build. You can click mmogah.com to buy cheap and safe PoE Currency and PoE Power Leveling. We will never let you down!
