Sandstone Drake

The Sandstone Drake is one of the easiest and most sought-after mounts in WoW. It is a flying mount that allows you to transform into a dragon and carry another player on your back.

The Sandstone Drake mount is obtained from the Vial of the Sands item, which is a rare and expensive recipe that can be learned by Alchemists. The recipe can be found in the Canopic Jar, which is a random drop from the Tol'vir Archaeology fragments in Uldum. The recipe requires a high level of Alchemy skill and a lot of rare and costly materials, such as Pyrium-Laced Crystalline Vial, Sands of Time, Truegold, and Flasks of the Winds, Stones, and Titans. Alternatively, you can buy the Vial of the Sands recipe or the mount from the auction house if you have enough WoW gold to spare. The price varies depending on your region's economy, but it's usually less than 70,000 gold. The Sandstone Drake mount is one of the most unique and impressive mounts in the game, and it can be a great way to show off your wealth and skill.

Chauffeured Chopper

Chauffeured-Chopper

Chauffeured Chopper is a level 1 mount that you can get by collecting heirlooms. Heirlooms are items that scale with your level and can be passed down to your alts. The Chauffeured Chopper mount allows you to ride a motorcycle with a chauffeur who drives you around. This is the only mount you can use before learning the Riding skill at level 20. This mount is pretty nice to have if you’re leveling WoW alts – which is probably the case if you’re collecting heirlooms in the first place.

To get this mount, you need to collect 35 heirlooms, which can be bought with gold from the Heirloom Vendor in Ironforge or Undercity. You can also get heirlooms from other sources, such as the Darkmoon Faire, the Trial of Style, or the Timewalking events. Once you have 35 heirlooms, you will get an achievement called Heirloom Hoarder, which will reward you with the Chauffeured Chopper. You can then use the mount on any of your characters, regardless of their level or faction.

Herbalism Mount

Sky Golem

Sky-Golem

Sky Golem is a flying mount that allows you to transform into a mechanical shredder. It lets you pick herbs while staying mounted and is a fantastic choice for herbalists. It's crafted by Engineers or available to buy on the auction house.

It can be obtained from the Sky Golem recipe. The recipe can be found in the Blingtron 4000 Gift Package, which is a random drop from the Blingtron 4000 daily quest. The recipe requires a high level of engineering skill and materials, like Living Steel, Jard's Peculiar Energy Source, and Ghost Iron Bolts.

Mechanized Lumber Extractor

Mechanized-Lumber-Extractor

The Mechanized Lumber Extractor mount is obtained from the achievement Remember to Share, which requires you to collect 300 toys. Toys are items that have fun or cosmetic effects, such as disguises, pets, or fireworks. You can find toys from various sources, such as quests, vendors, dungeons, raids, or events. You can also buy toys from the auction house.

Traveler's Tundra Mammoth

Traveler's Tundra Mammoth

Traveler's Tundra Mammoth is a three-person mount that comes with two vendors. It can be purchased from Mei Francis in Dalaran for 20,000 gold or 16,000 gold if you are exalted with the Kirin Tor. The mount allows you to ride a mammoth with two vendors who can sell you items or repair your gear. You can dismiss the vendors to make room for your friends or force them off if you want to ride solo. The mount is a great way to travel, shop, and repair on the go, especially if you are leveling alts or farming resources.
