The 20th Anniversary event for World of Warcraft is set to be a grand celebration running from October 22, 2024, to January 4, 2025. This two-month-long event will feature a variety of in-game activities, allowing players to earn exclusive rewards and revisit some of WoW's most iconic moments. How to get all of the rewards? Thraun shared a guide on his YouTube channel. Let's take a look at what it includes.

Currencies Needed and How to Farm

During this event, you will need two main currencies: Timewarped Badge and Bronze Celebration Token. Both of the currencies are Warband transferable, so you can farm both on your different alts and then transfer them to your main character to buy all the different rewards.

You have a lot of different daily quests that will reward you with Timewarped Badge and Bronze Celebration Token, like Soldier of Time available during the event period, which also rewards you item level 597 loot. You also have the Timely Care Crashers quest, where you need to defeat the Doomwalker Sha of Anger and Archavon, which are located in Tanaris. So just go and kill these different world bosses. These are the first two quests you can do to get some currencies.

Then, you will have access to the new Blackrock Depths raid and get some Bronze Celebration Tokens for defeating the last boss for the first time. You can also find the NPC Chromie and do quests to receive some of the currency, so basically, you can get tons of them by doing all these different daily activities or weekly activities.

What to Buy

With the currencies in hand, you can buy all the new upgraded tier two sets from the armor vendor Traeya for 80 Bronze Celebration Tokens.

One important thing to note here is that if you've purchased an updated tier two set during the event, you can unlock the achievement called Upgraded Apparel, which can lower the cost of additional tier two armor ensembles. So, it means that once you buy one set, you will be able to buy all the rest for lower cost, saving you some time farming again and again for the tokens. Additionally, you can buy all these different sets on one character and learn them, so there is no need to do it on all your different specific classes to get the specific tier two sets.

Then, you also have the Storekeeper Reginald selling some of the previously obtainable pets from all these different anniversary events, including some that you can still get in the game but are very expensive, which all cost ten tokens. For those of you who missed some of these pets, get them now! One thing to notice is that the Hatespark the Tiny Pet, which can be sold for lots of gold right now, will still be something that you can put in a cage when you learn it, so if you can get a few of them and then sell them back later on, you can make tons of TWW gold WoW in this way.

Then, you also have Historian Ma'dl, who is selling items that are linked to the event, like the 20 Anniversary Balloon Chest toy, Lil' Doomy's Hilt pet, and Coldflame Ring toy, which costs you Bronze Celebration Tokens. You can also buy the usual items that were previously available, like cosmetic items, toys, and pets, from this vendor with Timewarped Badges.

Next, you can also buy from the vendor Bobadormu, who sells the mount Reins of the Frayfeather Hippogryph, Practice Ravager toy, Noggenfogger Elixir consumables, and a lot of new cosmetic items and Commendations. All need to use Timewarped Badges to buy.

There are two mounts you can get with 5000 Timewarped Badges. One is the Enchanted Spellweave Carpet from the vendor Auzin in Dalaran, and the other is Amani Hunting Bear from the vendor Cupri in Shattrath City. Additionally, you can get a Coldflame Tempest mount, but this is not purchasable. You need to complete the achievement called A Cool Twenty Years by participating in some required new activities.

The last important category of reward is Timewarped Relic Coffer Keys, which you can get from doing the new BRD raid in all difficulties. Go to the vendor and exchange these for some loot. With the LFR gear, you will be able to get some Veteran gear with a 584 item level; with the Normal gear, you can get some Champion gear with a 597 item level. With the Heroic gear, you will get some Hero gear at a 610-item level. This is an easy way to gear up your alts.
