Understanding the Goblin Event

The Goblin Event introduces an increased spawn rate for Goblins in specific regions and opportunities to complete unique challenges and accumulate rewards. Players can earn Goblin Reputation by defeating goblins and unlocking valuable loot as they progress through the reputation track.

• Event Duration:

♢ Start Time: March 4, 2025, at 10 AM (PST)

♢ End Time: March 11, 2025, at 10 AM (PDT)

• Event Objective: Hunt down various Treasure Goblins across the map to collect loot and earn Goblin Reputation, unlocking better rewards as you progress.

How to Participate in the Goblin Event

1. Activate the Event. Visit the Goblin Statue in Kyovashad to activate the event and begin tracking your Goblin Reputation progress.

2. Accumulate Goblin Reputation Each Treasure Goblin defeated earns you reputation points. As your reputation level increases, you'll unlock higher-tier rewards, such as rare crafting materials and exclusive items.

3. Unlock Rewards Rewards from the Goblin Reputation track include:

• Large amounts of D4 gold

• Rare gems

• Legendary items

• Crafting materials

• Resplendent Spark and Mythic Unique items (at high reputation levels)

Types of Goblins

Classic Goblin Types

1. Treasure Goblin

• Common Goblins seen fleeing with chests of gold and loot. Quick and evasive, they must be defeated before escaping through a portal.

• Loot Drops: Gold, low- to mid-tier items, crafting materials, and potions.

2. Enhanced Treasure Goblin

• More durable and better-armored variants of Treasure Goblins. These goblins are more challenging to defeat but drop superior rewards.

• Loot Drops: Rare and legendary items, gold, and unique crafting materials.

New Goblin Types

Season 7 introduces six unique goblin variants, each with specialized rewards:

1. Odious Ector

Drops: Crafting materials, including Obducite at higher Torment tiers.

Best For: Quickly farming D4 gold for trading and upgrades.

3. Glittering Prym

Drops: Gem fragments, runes, Undercity Tributes, and Scattered Prisms (in higher tiers).

4. Curious Murl

Drops: Murmuring Obols, often exceeding inventory limits.

5. Gelatinous Syrus

Drops: Legendary items, boss summoning materials D4, gold, and elixirs.

Mechanic: Splits into smaller goblins upon defeat, increasing loot potential.

Best For: Efficient Legendary farming, especially in high Torment tiers.

6. Fancy Old Fedric 

Drops: Mythic Unique items and a Resplendent Spark.

Mechanic: Extremely rare spawn, making it a sought-after target.

Best For: Players chasing the rarest and most valuable loot.

Best Farming Routes

To maximize goblin farming efficiency, follow these strategies:

1. Nantu Region

Highlights: Dense monster population and rapid respawn rates make Nantu the top choice.

Strategy: Clear the area thoroughly, leveraging the high mob density to track goblins.

2. PvP Zones

Highlights: These areas tend to have fewer players, minimizing competition.

Tips: Stay vigilant for hostile players, or turn off crossplay to further reduce player interference.

3. Reset Farming

How-To: After clearing a farming zone, teleport back to town and re-enter the same area to reset goblin spawns.

Suggested Route: Start in Nantu, rotate through the PvP zones, and then return to Nantu to check for new spawns.
