Update 45 introduces some exciting new systems and features to The Elder Scrolls Online. While there aren't many changes to classes or sets this time, several important additions have been made. Key highlights include two new dungeons, housing options, new sets, crafting changes, and more. These are the major systems and features included in ESO Update 45.
ESO Update 45 - Fallen Banners Release Date
The ESO Update 45 base-game patch and Fallen Banners dungeon DLC will be released on March 10 for PC/Mac and March 26 for Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
New Dungeons
Lep Seclusa and Exiled Redoubt are the two new dungeons and the highlight of Update 45. Lep Seclusa is a linear dungeon without any secrets but with a few interesting Boss encounters. Exiled Redoubt, on the other hand, is a more challenging dungeon with a few secrets along the way. Both new dungeons are fun to play and will unlock a variety of achievements and items for players.
New Sets
Update 45 introduces 11 new armor sets, with four from each dungeon and three from Rewards for the Worthy. Some of these sets are quite effective and will enhance your builds.
New Houses
New houses are set to be introduced in The Elder Scrolls Online. Now is the perfect time to buy some ESO coins so you can get these houses once the update launches. With Update 45, two new houses will be available: Shattered Mirror and Castle Skingrad. Shattered Mirror Isle is located in Fargrave City, while Castle Skingrad can be found in West Weald.
Map Changes
The map has been reworked to show only one Wayshrine per zone by default, making travel easier. You can adjust your view using the filter next to the map if desired.
Mount Speed
Mount speed is increased before you unlock Major Gallop. This makes it easier to travel around as a new player.
Starter Zone Refresh
Betnikh, Stros M'kai, Bleakrock Isle, Bal Foyen, and Khenarthi's Roost are getting a visual makeover. This bring them more on par with newest zones and make it more enjoyable to visit them.
Craft Champion Stars
Several Champion stars in the Craft tree no longer need to be slotted to benefit from them. This makes it easier to engage with this Champion Point tree and enjoy the game more.
Crime Wave Event
Crime Wave is a new mini event that will make its appearance after Update 45. The event rewards stealing in ESO with better and more unique rewards. Sadly, there are no event tickets to be earned while it is active. A dedicated Theif build will make this event easy to complete.
Reaper Strike
There are new overland encounters that allow players to purchase a unique furnishing and unlock a new skill style. Reaper Strikers are essentially enhanced Dark Fissures encounters, appearing in the same locations as them.
Conclusion
These are the major additions in Update 45, but a lot more minor changes are coming as well. If you found this video helpful, please don't forget to subscribe to ArzyeL Gaming's channel for more future content.
