ESO PvE Build: Heavy-Attack One-Bar MagSorc DPS – Firesong

Welcome to the latest ESO build for The Elder Scrolls Online Update – Firesong. In this guide, Plitzzy shares a heavy-attack, one-bar build for the Magicka Sorcerer. The build can deal over 94K damage on the parse dummy in a solid build for group content. Keep in mind that since this build uses medium armor, you will lack a little Penetration. If you are an end-game player who prefers a one-bar build, this is the guide for you.

Potion: Essence of Health or Essence of Magicka

 

The Bewitched Sugar Skulls gives extra Magicka, Stamina, and Health. The Artaeum Pickled Fish Bowl is the best choice if you want to push more damage. But the Solitude Salmon-Millet Soup is a good alternative and costs less.

 

Gear Setup

 

 

 

Gear Alternatives

You can use four other heavy-attack sets: Undaunted Unweaver, Undaunted Infiltrator, Infallible Mage, and Noble Duelist's Silks.

 

 

The thing about Undaunted Unweaver and Undaunted Infiltrator is that they don't have the best 2-4 piece bonus. Also, the heavy-attack boost you get from meeting the requirements is only 1,645, slightly less than the Noble Duelist's Silks and significantly less than Sergeant's Mail.

 

Infallible Mage is a good source of Minor Slayer, but the Oakensoul Ring provides that for you, so you don't need it. The five-piece Infallible Mage only adds 900 extra heavy-attack damage, far lower than any of the other heavy-attack sets. It does affect enemies with Minor Vulnerability, but it doesn't add enough DPS to warrant it.

 

You can use Noble Duelist's Silks if you need more Penetration and want to wear light armor on the body instead of medium. Its 2-4 piece bonuses are OK, and the 5-piece bonus is powerful. But the drawback is you have to be in Melee range.

Make sure the Rejuvenation is slotted on the Fitness tree, and everything else is personal preference or content specific.

 

Rotation

Keep up Daedric Prey, Unstable Wall, and Elemental Susceptibility as best as possible. When you don't have anything better to cast, you can cast Volatile Familiar. Your Twilight Tormentor is just there for the Passive Damage. You will want to drop Greater Storm Atronach whenever it's ready.

 

If you are not using the Elemental Susceptibility, you can change your Weapon Enchantment for Shock Damage; If you need more AoE, swap Greater Storm Atronach for Destro Ultimate. Lastly, if you need another bar slot, either Elemental Susceptibility or Twilight Tormentor can be your flex spot.
