Magicka Sorcerer PvP Build for ESO: High Isle

The second Whitestrake's Mayhem event of The Elder Scrolls Online will begin in late July 2022. To play well in PvP, having a powerful build is essential. As one of the best PvP classes, Sorcerer excels at high mobility, high damage, and high damage absorption. Gear Setup

 

 

Sea-Serpent's Coil gives you Major Beserk and Major Courage, but it snares you by 40%. If you don't like snare, you can use Death Dealer's Fete. 

 

On the back-bar, you can replace the Shield of Willpower with Shield of Marauder's Haste, which increases your movement speed by 20% for 9 seconds. 

 

If you prefer a more static play style, you can choose the Ironblood Shield. Though this shield will snare you by 50%, it reduces your damage taken by 30%.

 

For the front-bar weapon, you can use the Savage Werewolf's Inferno staff instead. This weapon deals a good amount of Bleed Damage and helps for single-target DoT pressure. Aside from the Savage Werewolf, there is another option – Way of Fire Inferno Staff. This staff deals over 2K Flame Damage with only a 2-second Cooldown.

 

Skill Setup

 

Front Bar

Boundless Storm, Haunting Curse, Crushing Shock, Crystal Fragments, Streak, Greater Storm Atronach

 

Boundless Storm provides Resistance buffs and Major Expedition.

Haunting Curse is very strong damage to an enemy.

Crushing Shock is your spammable skill. You can also replace this skill with Elemental Weapon.

Crystal Fragments hits hard, and the next non-Ultimate ability cast within 3 seconds costs 10% less.

Streak stuns enemies, and this skill can not be blocked or dodged. Streak also deals decent damage and can be used to escape tough situations.

Greater Storm Atronach is your Ultimate skill that can be used for a 1vX open field fight. You can also use Power Overload instead for more single-time pressure.

 

Back Bar

Dampen Magic, Hardened Ward, Resolving Vigor, Bound Aegis, Dark Conversion, Spell Wall

 

Dampen Magic grants a shield that absorbs damage for 6 seconds.

Hardened Ward is your shield skill.

Resolving Vigor heals you for 4,990 Health in 4 seconds.

Bound Aegis is slotted for the 8% more Maximum Magicka, Minor Resolve, and another 3K Spell Resistance.

Dark Conversion is used to replenish your Magicka and as a Heal skill.

Spell Wall will be your defensive Ultimate.
