The second Whitestrake's Mayhem event of The Elder Scrolls Online will take place on July 25. As the PvP event approaches, you might be interested in a strong build to use during the event. Unified Gaming has prepared a guide for a Magicka Warden build specifically designed for PvP content. If you enjoy playing PvP with the Warden class, this is a guide that you definitely shouldn't miss.

Weapon Damage: 4463

Weapon Critical: 15.4%

Physical Penetration: 4383

Spell Resistance: 21747

Physical Resistance: 21021

Attributes: 64 points into Health

Race: Dark Elf's racial skills give you more Max Magicka and Stamina, Flame Resistance, and Weapon and Spell Damage, making it one of the best races for PvP. Most importantly, Dark Elf is an ideal race to offset the weakness of a Vampire, which has a strong passive called Undeath. However, Breton, High Elf, and Argonian will also work on this build.

Mundus: The Lover is the most versatile one for offensive power. If you play no-CP Battlegrounds, you can also use the Atronach.

Food: Orzorga's Smoked Bear Haunch is a good choice, increasing Magicka and Stamina Recovery. This is particularly helpful for this Warden build, which relies on many spam skills and often engages in mid-ranged combat. If you're on a budget, you can still enjoy these benefits with the more affordable Jewels of Misrule.

Potion: The Crown Tri-Restoration potion can restore your Health, Magicka, and Stamina. If you are fighting Nightblades, then the Essence of Detection is advised. The Essence of Immovability is also very helpful if you are in group play.

This build is using a frost staff because the Piercing Cold passive increases your damage done up to 12% when you are wielding an Ice Staff.

The Master's Perfected Impact Ice Staff reduces the cost of Destructive Touch by 10%, and it gives you 600 Weapon and Spell Damage for 4 seconds. Having two perfected pieces of this set will grant you an extra 103 Weapon and Spell Damage.

The Wretched Vitality set adds Magicka Recovery, Stamina Recovery, and Weapon and Spell Damage, and if you put a Major or Minor buff to a target while in combat, you will get extra Magicka and Stamina Recovery. The best glyph for the shield is Health, and for the Sword, it is Poison. But you can choose whatever you like.

Baron Thirsk adds Stamina Recovery and Magicka Recovery. You can also use the Magma Incarnate, but the Baron Thirsk is easier to get.

If you are a Breton, you can change the glyph on the Ice Furnace Ring to a damage glyph as well, as you have that sustain already.

Skill Setup

Front Bar Skill

1. Frost Reach

2. Deep Fissure

3. Dazing Soul

4. Fetcher Infection

5. Bird of Prey

6. Dawnbreaker of Smiting (Ultimate)

Frost Reach is your spammable skill. Not only does it deal DoT damage, it also procs the Glacial Presence passive skill, meaning you will deal a lot more damage to the enemies.

Deep Fissure is a delayed burst, and it also grants Minor Breach.

Dazing Soul (Wield Soul  +  Stun + Lingering Torment + Defile) is a Scribing skill in ESO. This skill is very important for this build, as you can use this skill at a range to stun enemies, apply a DoT, and hit Major Defile. Furthermore, while having the Dazing Soul, you can use the Polar Wind instead of Arctic Blast to get more bust heal.

While making the Dazing Soul skill, if you don't have the Defile, you can use anything else. Vitality is a good option, as it will increase your passive healing.

Fetcher Infection is one of the better skills for this slot because it gives a DoT on enemies, and the second cast of this skill deals 60% more damage.

However, Fetcher Infection is not the only skill you can use for this slot. If you play in Cyrodiil, You can replace this skill with Shimmering Shield, which absorbs ranged attacks and gives Major Heroism, granting you Ultimate. The more Ultimate you get, the more damage you can deal by using Dawnbreaker of Smiting.

Shimmering Shield is especially helpful if you're constantly fighting Sorcerers, as they usually deal ranged damage. For Battlegrounds, you can use Fetcher Infection as you don't need extra mitigation, and for Cyrodill or Imperial City, Shimmering Shield is a good option.

Besides the two above, you can also use skills like Living Trellis and Lotus Blossom for healing.

Bird of Prey is your movement skill that grants Minor Berserk and more damage, and it's snare immunity. If you're in group play, you may want to use Deceptive Predator for more mitigation.

Dawnbreaker of Smiting The Ultimate skill is Dawnbreaker. It deals Physical Damage and additional Physical Damage over time.

Back Bar Skills

1. Ice Fortress

2. Resolving Vigor

3. Polar Wind

4. Blue Betty

5. Lotus Blossom

6. Northern Storm (Ultimate)

Blue Betty restores your Magicka and grants Major Sorcery. It is worth noting that double-casting this skill can proc your Minor Toughness passive to receive 10% more Maximum Health.

Lotus Blossom grants Major Prophecy,  increasing your Spell Critical chance by 12%.
