In this article, ArzyeL Gaming shares a dedicated solo build designed to provide defense, survivability, and damage, helping you progress in the Infinite Archive. Of course, you can also use this build in the Maelstrom Arena and Vateshran Hollows.

 

Pro tips: While making a solid Infinite Archive build, a good amount of gold will be handy for getting the necessary items in ESO.

 

Build Stats

Maximum Magicka: 25717

Maximum Health: 44694

Maximum Stamina: 14581

 

Magicka Recovery: 1244

Health Recovery: 2440

Stamina Recovery: 973

 

Spell Damage: 3244

Spell Critical: 38.9%

Spell Penetration: 10824

 

Weapon Damage: 3244

Weapon Critical: 38.9%

Physical Penetration: 10824

 

Spell Resistance: 23385

Critical Resistance: 1320

Physical Resistance: 19029

 

Race: Nord grants you extra Health, Stamina, Armor, Frost Resistance, and Ultimate generation. Some good alternative races are Breton, Imperial, High Elf, and Dark Elf. 

Class: Dragonknight can deal strong fire damage that you can further boost with Vision and Verses, and the class also has powerful defensive Ultimate skills. 

Attributes: Put 64 points into Magicka

Mundus: The Lover

Food: Orzorga’s Smoked Bear Haunch

Potion: Essence of Spell Power

 

Gear Setup 

 

 

Gaze of Sithis is a Mythic item acquired through the Antiquities system. Since defense is the build's No. 1 focus, you are using the Gaze of Sithis instead of the Ring of the Pale Order.

 

You can use Order's Wrath to replace False God's Devotion for a no-trial gear setup and help you progress in the Infinite Archive.

 

Iceheart and Ring of the Pale Order are a couple more sets you can use. 

 

Skill Setup

 

Front Bar

Molten Whip is your main offensive skill that deals massive fire damage.

Burning Embers is a strong flame DoT offensive skill that can also heal.

Engulfing Flames is another good flame DoT skill that makes enemies vulnerable to fire damage.

Barbed Trap is a good DoT damage and a boost to your Critical Damage.

Cauterize increases your Spell and Weapon Critical rating and heals you or an ally.

Flawless Dawnbreaker (Ultimate) is slotted for its passive skill effects. 

 

Back Bar

Eruption is a strong AoE damage skill.

Unstable Wall of Elements is a great AoE damage skill.

Hardened Armor boosts your defense and provides a shield.

Coagulating Blood is your main self-healing ability.

Elemental Susceptibility debuffs enemies and applies status effects.

Magma Shell (Ultimate) is your main Ultimate that reduces incoming damage and deals fire damage.

 

Passive Skills

Class Skill Tree: All Passives from your class

Weapon Skill Tree: All passives from the weapon you are using

Armor Skill Tree: All passives from the armor type you are using

Guild Skill Tree (Fighters, Mages, or Psijic Order that affect your skills or build):

Mages Guild Skill Line: Mage Adept, Everlasting Magic, Magicka Controller, and Might of the Guild

Undaunted Skill Line: All Passives

Racial Skill Tree: All Passives from the race you are using

Craft Skill Tree: Medicinal Use in the Alchemy Skill Line

Some Visions and Verses that can help you include: 

Boundless Potential reduces the cost of your Ultimate skills, allowing you to use your Magma Shell more often.

Scorching Strikes boosts your fire damage and everything that will help you deal more fire direct, AoE, or DoT damage.
