The Elder Scrolls Online has been a popular MMORPG since its release, offering players a vast and immersive world to explore. With the upcoming Necrom chapter, players can expect even more content and features to enjoy. One of the most exciting additions to the game is introducing the Arcanist class alongside two new Companions. However, new challenges come with new content, and players must be prepared to succeed.

In ESO, having enough money can provide you with the necessary gear and resources to take on the upcoming challenges in the Necrom chapter. Let's explore the new Companions, Azandar Al-Cybiades and Sharp-As-Night, who will aid you in combat.

Two New Companions

Azandar Al-Cybiades

Azandar Al-Cybiades is a Redguard Arcanist. He possesses an impressive understanding of the mystical world, but his eagerness to learn occasionally gets him into trouble, especially when his experiments fail. If you want to become Azandar's companion in ESO, you must assist him in correcting things. Some of his most notable abilities include:

Abor's Augmented Ward: Creates a protective damage shield that can absorb up to 2475 damage for a duration of 6 seconds. Upon taking direct damage for the first time after casting the shield, it will retaliate and inflict 4950 Magic Damage to the attacker.

Scathing Rune: When the enemy is not already taunted, he employs a runic technique to provoke them into attacking. It causes them to suffer from Minor Maim for 15 seconds, lowering their damage done by 5%.

Fear of the Unknown: Exposes an enemy to the unknown reality, inducing Fear in them for a duration of 4 seconds.

Triptych Physic: Unleashes a group of revitalizing runes towards themselves or an ally, restoring 1650 Health three times. This ability is triggered when the Companion or an ally's health drops below 75%.

Sharp-As-Night

Sharp-as-Night is an Argonian Warden. He can help players defeat tougher enemies and take on more challenging quests. Once Sharp-as-Night's special Companion perk, Sharp's Patience, is unlocked, players can benefit from Sharp's Patience even when the Companion is not currently accompanying them.

When short of a group member, players can summon Sharp-as-Night to join them in a dungeon or quest. However, he cannot perform complex mechanics, and players may prefer to group with other players instead. Sharp-as-Night cannot be summoned during combat, in PvP, single-player arenas, or housing instances. Some of his most notable abilities include:

Swoop: He commands a cliff racer to swoop down on an enemy, causing 4212 Magic Damage. Additionally, if the target is located more than 7 meters away from the cliff racer, the attack will Off Balance the target for a duration of 7 seconds.

Infest: Sharp-as-Night summons a swarm of fetcherflies that attack the enemy, causing 6315 Magic Damage over 8 seconds. These fetcherflies continue to tear through the enemy's flesh, causing them to suffer from Minor Vulnerability, which increases their damage taken by 5% for the duration.

Char: Calls forth a pack of fiery shalk to assault enemies in front of them, inflicting 2106 Magic Damage. The shalks then dig into the ground for 3 seconds before re-emerging to deal another 2106 Magic Damage to their targets.

Gore: Commands a spectral kagouti to charge toward the enemy and hurl them, causing 12636 Physical Damage and stunning them for 3 seconds. If the enemy's health is below 25%, the ability deals 150% more damage.

How to Unlock Both Companions

To recruit Azandar as a Companion in The Elder Scrolls Online, you must have access to the Necrom Chapter. Once you have it, you can find Azandar outside the Cipher's Midden village, located in the Apocrypha zone. To unlock him as a Companion, you will need to complete his quest called "The Fateweaver's Key".

To add Sharp-As-Night to your collection in The Elder Scrolls Online, you also need the Necrom Chapter. You can find him south of the main city of Necrom near the Outlaw's Refuge. To unlock Sharp-As-Night, you must complete the "The Double Edge" quest.
